After sewing this block for the
Just Take 2 challenge, I might just change my opinion about feathered stars. This went together beautifully and all my points matched, I have 1/4” seam on all sides and, get this, it measures precisely 15 1/2” just as it should! You can be sure that if I had more than one to make I wouldn’t be so lucky. :o)
I’m just about on schedule and have just downloaded the next steps for April. There is a rather complicated appliqued block, but I will give it a go. Along with the instructions we are getting some of the assembly instructions too so I will finally be able to see how these blocks all look together.

Until next time....

Happy Easter :o)!
Jane, your feathered star is wonderful. I did a wall hanging years ago, and I remember it was very difficult for me. You have mastered it! Love the blues!
That's a wonderful block! So many tiny pieces. Great job. :-)
I love your feathered star block - it's great. I've always wanted to make one but I'm a bit scared of all those angles and points!!!
Love it!
Feathered stars are so daunting, but well worth the effort. Yours looks wonderful in blue and white!
